![]() ![]() When booking for this year we were quoted around the same price for Flamingo, Linq, Ballys, Park MGM, Plantet Hollywood and Luxor. Having been 4 times previously I’d say all other hotels were far better (Luxor, Paris, Venitian, Park MGM) even the bars/restaurants and casino in these hotels are far better as Flamingo were very dated. You also can’t complain at the pool because when we tried they said we’d need to raise a complaint with the hotel concierge, and the others were security so couldn’t help us but said they get this a lot Can honestly say the only good thing about the hotel is the location. So basically there is no priority for hotel guests who are paying to stay there, instead looking for any way to make money rather than look after their own guests. But they have a lot of daybeds and cabanas where they will make a lot of money off folk! Got speaking to someone in the pool who wasn’t staying at the hotel and told us the pool is open for free to the public, and they turn up early because it’s a free pool party every day. (or you could hire a locker at $20) When I was there I counted less than 50 sunloungers, which isn’t a lot for a hotel that has 3500 rooms. We were sent away on 2 occasions as the pool was too busy! A week into the holiday and only used the pool once so decided to just leave all our valuables in the room and head down one afternoon. By this point majorly annoyed and decide we aren’t going to queue anymore and just chance our luck the next few days. Still didn’t get one as priority diamond members get in first (totally understand that as they spend fortunes, fair play). Third day even earlier, 8:45 and maybe about 20 folk infront of us so thought we’d be guaranteed one. By the time we get in all the beds are gone again. This also doesn’t include tax and gratuity so ended up over $400 to get a bed at the pool but tried to not let it bother us as it was the first day The second day we decided to go down for it opening at 9am and there was a huge queue. This costs $150 just to rent and need to spend a minimum of an additional $150 on food and beverage. Our only option was to hire a daybed to enjoy the pool. ![]() Then tried to put a towel down next to the pool but was moved away because it was too close to the daybeds you need to pay for. The first day we went down about 11am and all sun loungers were taken so couldn’t get a bed. Recently back from a 10 night stay at the Flamingo Hotel and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone if you are planning to use the pool. ![]() Still didn’t get one as priority diamond members get in first (totally understand that as they spend fortunes, fair play).īy this point majorly annoyed and decide we aren’t going to queue anymore and just chance our luck the next few days.
